Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital

We've been here on Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg for quite a while now. Most people know the spot. It’s a busy road, especially during the day when everyone is heading to work. Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital is just sitting there among the other buildings. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s where we do our work. Dealing with cancer every day is heavy, honestly. We see a lot of families coming through the doors. Some look lost, others are just trying to get through the next hour. The staff here, we just try to keep things moving. We don't have all the answers, but we show up. It gets crowded in the waiting areas. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud or the chairs aren't the most comfortable, but that's just how it is. People come from all over the city and even from the villages. We spend a lot of time looking at files and talking to patients. It’s a lot of paperwork and routine stuff. It’s not like what you see on TV shows. It’s just a hospital. We have doctors and nurses who have been here for years. They know the regulars by name. We try to be helpful when someone asks for directions to a specific ward. The building has seen better days, maybe a fresh coat of paint would help, but the medicine is what matters. We just keep the lights on and help whoever walks in. It’s a job that feels important, even on the long days when we are tired.
