Bdfi Welfare Foundation

You can find the Bdfi Welfare Foundation over in the Iradat Nagar area, specifically in the Gopalpura neighborhood. It’s a typical local spot where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Our office is a small, functional space that we’ve made our own over the last few years. It’s not located on a main road, so it’s a bit quieter than some of the other parts of town. We mostly spend our days dealing with the paperwork that comes with running a welfare group. There are always forms to fill out and people to call. The furniture is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We don’t have any corporate branding or expensive marketing materials laying around. Instead, you’ll find stacks of notebooks and local newspapers. Sometimes our neighbors stop by for a chat, and we always have time for that. It’s important to stay connected to the people living right here in Gopalpura. We don’t follow a strict schedule; if there’s work to be done, we stay until it’s finished. The internet connection can be a bit spotty sometimes, which can be frustrating when we’re trying to send emails, but we manage. It’s a very human way of working, without any of the polish you see in big city offices. We just do what we can with what we have.
