Baba Graphics

Our shop is at 31 B in the Mahalaxmi Market, which is right in the heart of Nehru Bazar. It is a very small space, but we have managed to fit all our printing machines inside. Graphics work is what we do every day. We spend a lot of time sitting in front of screens trying to get the colors just right for a sign or a flyer. Nehru Bazar is always loud and full of people, so there is never a dull moment outside our door. We’ve been here for a good while now, and the walls are covered with old samples and scraps of paper. It isn't the cleanest or most modern office you will ever see, but we know where every single tool is located. We don't have a fancy website where you can order things. Usually, people just walk in with a rough idea and we talk it through over a cup of tea. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them instead of printing. It is a bit of a struggle when the market gets really crowded during the holidays, but we like the energy. My cousin helps me out with the deliveries when we have a big order. We aren't a big agency with lots of staff. It is just us in this tiny shop doing our best to get the prints out on time. It is a good life in the market.
