Jobner Bagh is a well-known area in Jaipur, and our office for Astra Ventures is right there on Station Road at Plot No 23. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of movement nearby. You get the sound of the trains and the crowds, which gives the place a lot of energy. We are tucked into a plot that has been around for quite a while. The building has that classic Jaipur look, though we haven't done much to the interior other than putting in some sturdy desks and chairs. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we have the fans going full blast most of the day. We are pretty easy to find once you get onto Station Road. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we don't have to deal with long commutes, which is a plus. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us at a desk working on a laptop or talking on the phone. We like to keep things informal. It’s a comfortable place to work, even if it’s a bit cluttered with papers and files. We’ve been at this location for a few years now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest place to run a business, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It feels like home to us.
