Ashoka Marble Private Limited

We are based out of the Vki Area, specifically D-84 on Road No. 8(C). It’s an industrial spot, so it’s usually pretty loud with trucks and machinery going all day long. We deal in marble. It’s heavy, messy work, but someone has to do it. We have heaps of slabs sitting around the yard, and we spend a lot of time moving them from one spot to another. Some are nicer than others, but they all need a lot of care so they don't crack. We get a lot of dust on our clothes by the end of the shift. That’s just part of the job when you’re cutting stone. Most of our customers are builders or people doing up their houses who want something that lasts. We aren’t really into the high-pressure sales stuff. If you like a piece of stone, you buy it. If not, that’s fine too. The coffee machine in the break room is probably the most used thing in the building. It’s a lot of physical labor, and my back definitely feels it some days. We’ve been at this for a while now, and we know which quarries give us the good stuff and which ones to avoid. It isn't a perfect science, but we do our best with what we get. The yard is usually a bit of a maze, but we know where everything is.
