You can find us at G-5 in the Shri Gopal Tower on Ashok Marg. Being in a tower sounds more important than it actually is. It’s just an office where we manage Mohak Commodities Pvt. Ltd. Ashok Marg stays pretty crowded most of the time, so there is always a lot of noise coming in from the street level. Our space is on the ground floor, which is handy because we don’t have to wait for the lift every time we need to step out. The walls are painted a standard off-white and we have some calendars pinned up to keep track of the months. Dealing with commodities means we are always looking at numbers and talking to people on the phone. It’s not the quietest job, but it’s what we do. We have a small table for tea and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The air conditioner hums quite a bit during the summer, but we’re used to it. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s just a place to work and meet folks who have business with us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. That’s just part of being here. We’ve been in this building long enough that the security guards know us by name. It’s a decent spot to spend the day, even if the traffic outside is a headache sometimes.
