Ashok Goyal

Ashok Goyal is the name and we are based at Lalkothi Imliwala Phatak, house number 4. It’s a well-known spot in this part of town. I’ve been at this address for longer than I can remember. The office is part of our building and it’s where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s a small space, mostly filled with old files and a computer that’s a bit slow but still works. We don’t have a big team of workers, just a couple of people who help me keep things organized. I’ve never seen the point in having a flashy office or wearing a tie to work. I like to keep things practical and down to earth. People come to us because they know we’ve been here for a long time and we don’t disappear. Lalkothi is a busy area and being near Imliwala Phatak means we see a lot of people passing by. Sometimes someone stops in just to ask for directions and we end up talking for half an hour. That’s just how it goes here. We don’t do any advertising in the newspapers or online. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. I handle most of the things myself because I like to know what’s going on with every single job. It’s a simple way to run a business and it’s served us well over the years. We stay busy and we stay local.
