Ashish Gupta

Ashish Gupta is based out of 14, Jagdish Colony, which is right near the Mahesh Nagar area in Tonk Phatak, Jaipur. If you know Jaipur, you know Tonk Phatak is always bustling with people and traffic. Our colony is a bit more tucked away, but you can still hear the city moving outside. The house we work from is an old building that has been in the family for a while. It’s got high ceilings and fans that hum all day long. We don't have fancy air conditioning in every room, so we just deal with the heat like everyone else in Rajasthan. Usually, we have tea around four in the afternoon when the sun starts to dip. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. I’m Ashish, and I just work alongside a couple of others to get the daily jobs finished. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. Simple clothes for a simple day. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket in the street right outside our door. It can get a bit loud, but it’s part of living in Jagdish Colony. We like being centrally located because it makes it easy to run errands or meet people if we have to. We aren’t trying to be the biggest business around, just trying to do a good job from our little corner of Jaipur.
