We are set up over in Gopalpura Anand Vihar, specifically at A 20. If you are looking for a fancy corporate office, you are in the wrong place. Our space is mostly filled with old metal cupboards and stacks of books that people have donated. The Mumbai Educational Trust keeps us pretty busy with all the different programs we try to run. It is a lot of local folks coming together to see what can be done for the kids and the students nearby. Sometimes we have volunteers sitting on the floor sorting through papers because we ran out of table space. It is a bit chaotic but it works for us. The lights flicker occasionally when the heavy machinery in the next building starts up. We do not mind. We spend most of our time talking to parents or figuring out how to get more supplies for the next term. There is always a smell of old paper and maybe a bit of dust in the air. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone to make us look polished. It is just a few of us who care about school stuff and want to make sure the local kids have a place to come to. We keep the doors open late most days. It is just a practical setup for people who have a lot of work to do and not much time to worry about how the office looks.
