If you go down to Shakti Vihar in Kotputli, you’ll find us. Arya Mahila T T College is right near the Kotputli Bazar in Jaipur. It’s a place for women who want to become teachers. The market nearby is always crowded, so there’s a lot of energy around the college. We have a simple building where the students spend their days. It’s not a massive campus, but it has everything needed for the training courses. The girls come from different parts of the district, some staying nearby and others traveling in. We talk about teaching methods and how to manage a classroom. It’s a lot of hard work. Sometimes the street noise from the bazar drifts in, but you get used to it after a while. We don’t have a lot of decorative stuff on the walls. It’s mostly just charts and maps. The tea stall around the corner is a popular spot during the breaks. We just focus on the training and getting the students ready for their future jobs in schools. It’s a straightforward life here. We don't need much more than some good books and a quiet enough corner to study them in the afternoon heat.
