Arch Academy

You can find us in the Malviya Industrial Area on Govind Marg at Plot No 9. The building is pretty easy to spot once you get into the industrial zone. It’s a place where things actually get made, so it’s not exactly quiet around here. Inside the academy, there’s usually a lot of paper, charcoal, and models sitting around on the tables. We have a lot of floor space because students need room to move their projects around. The lighting is okay, but we use extra lamps when it gets dark early in the winter. We spend a lot of time just talking about designs and looking at what everyone is working on. It gets messy sometimes with all the scraps and materials, but we try to sweep up at the end of the day. The staff here has been around for years, so we know all the quirks of the building. Like how the back door sticks if you don’t pull it just right. We don’t bother with much decoration on the walls because the student work covers everything anyway. It feels more like a workshop than a school most of the time. There is a small tea stall just down the road where everyone goes during the mid-day break. It’s a practical place for people who want to learn how to build and draw things. It is noisy during the day with the trucks outside, but we just ignore it. Most of the desks are a bit scuffed up from years of use, but they still work fine for sketching.
