Anju Jain

This place is over at Sunder Nagar 70 in Malviya Nagar. It’s not really a big company or anything, just a space where I handle my daily tasks and see whoever stops by. I’ve lived around here for quite some time, so setting up here felt natural. The room is usually a bit cluttered with papers and books, but I know where everything is. It’s quiet mostly, which helps when there’s a lot to get through. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or drop off things. I don't really have a big staff, it's mostly just me managing the day-to-day stuff that comes up. The building itself is old, but it’s sturdy. I keep the curtains open to get some light in, though the afternoon sun can be a bit much. People find it easier to just come over instead of calling. I try to stay on top of things, but sometimes I get behind on my notes. It’s a simple way of working. There’s no lobby or receptionist, you just walk in and we talk. I like that it’s informal. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. I've been doing this for a few years now and I don't see myself moving anywhere else soon. It’s just a steady part of the neighborhood life here for Anju Jain.
