Amit Paint & Hardware

Our shop is located at D 200 Jhotwara Nirman Marg. If you know where Pinkcity Towers is, we are just right near there. It’s a decent sized place where we keep all sorts of hardware and paint. I spend most of my day moving boxes or helping people find the right size screw. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. The neighborhood has grown a lot lately. More houses are going up, so we stay busy with people fixing things or painting their new rooms. We try to keep the basics in stock so nobody has to drive too far. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to shuffle things around. It’s a bit of a mess during those times. We have a few guys working here who know their way around tools. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always someone asking for a specific hinge or a certain shade of white paint. We just do our work and go home. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Jaipur, just a regular one for the folks living nearby in Jhotwara. You might have to wait a minute if we are busy with another customer, but we’ll get to you. It's just a regular local business run by regular people who know a bit about hardware and how things work around the house. Most days are busy but we like it that way.
