Ambaji Bullion Refinery

We are located in the heart of Johari Bazar at number 1002, right down Gopal Ji Ka Rasta. If you have ever been to Jaipur, you know how crowded and narrow these lanes can be. This is where we do all our refinery work. It is hot, loud, and smells like chemicals and hot metal most of the time. We are not a jewelry shop with glass cases and bright spotlights. This is a real workshop where things get melted down and cleaned. We have been here for a long time, working with gold and other bullion day after day. My clothes usually have a few singe marks from the sparks, and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. It is just the nature of the refinery business. People bring us things to refine, and we just get to it. We do not have a marketing department or fancy business cards. Word of mouth in the bazaar is how everyone finds us. The 1002 spot on Gopal Ji Ka Rasta has been our home for many years. We spend most of the day standing around the furnaces. It is hard work and your eyes get very tired from the heat of the fire. Sometimes we have to close the heavy shutters when the street gets too busy with processions or tourists. We don’t talk about things like excellence. We just make sure the metal is pure.
