Alpha Charitable Foundation

Devi Path is a pretty nice street in Jawahar Nagar. We are at 54-A, right in the Kanota Bagh area. Alpha Charitable Foundation is based here. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s mostly quiet except for the school hours. The house at 54-A has a small garden in front. We use the ground floor for our foundation work. It’s got a lot of light coming in. We aren't a loud group. We mostly do work that involves local charity and helping out where we can in Jaipur. Jawahar Nagar has a lot of history and we feel like we are a small part of it now. The office feels more like a home than a workplace. We have a kitchen where we make tea for anyone who visits. There are no cubicles or glass walls. Just open rooms with desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who live nearby. Kanota Bagh is a pleasant place to walk around in the evenings. We usually wrap up our work around six. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a list of things that need to get done that week. It’s a practical approach. We’ve been at this address for some time and the neighbors know us. It’s a good spot for the kind of work we do.
