Our foundation is located in room 302 of the Fountain Plaza. Akhand Bharat Akhand Healthcare Foundation isn't your typical healthcare office that you might see in a hospital. We are up on the third floor, away from the noise of the street, but we still see plenty of people coming through the doors every day. We focus on getting basic health information and help to those who might not know where else to go. The plaza is a busy spot, so it’s easy for people to find us when they are out doing their regular errands. We don't use a lot of medical jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We are just folks who care about health and want to make it easier for our neighbors to stay well. Some days we are buried in files, and other days we are talking to families for hours about their needs. It’s a bit of a mix. We don’t have a big polished lobby or fancy decorations. It is just a regular office where we try to get things done for the people who come to us. We keep things straightforward. If you need help or just have questions about health services, you come to the third floor and we talk. It’s a practical way to run things in a busy city. We are just glad to have a space in Fountain Plaza where we can be useful.
