We’re tucked away in Indira Bazar at T-69. If you’ve ever walked through the bazaar, you know how tightly packed all the stalls and shops are. Our place is no different. It’s a small unit filled with whatever stock we’ve got in for the week. We mostly deal with supply stuff and general trading. It gets quite dusty with all the people moving around outside, so we’re always dusting off the counters. There’s a tea stall right across from us that keeps us going with chai throughout the day. It’s not a very quiet place to work, but you get used to the shouting and the bargaining sounds. The ceiling is a bit low, and we have to be careful when we’re stacking boxes so they don’t fall over. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people usually just find us by walking through the market. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on deliveries. Some days the market is so packed you can hardly move, and other days it’s strangely quiet. We’ve been at this spot for several years now. It’s just a regular business in a busy market. We do what we do and try to stay out of the way. It’s a simple life at T-69, and we’ve made some good friends among the other shopkeepers over the years. We just take it one day at a time.
