Akaar Foundation

If you know Ajmer Road, you probably know the Chitrakoot area. We are tucked away at P. No. 6/84 in the Chitrkot Yojana. It’s a decent spot, fairly easy to find once you get off the main road. Akaar Foundation is a small operation. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily grind of running a foundation. There’s always someone coming in with a question or some form that needs filling out. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit; usually, it’s just one of us getting up from a desk to say hello. The office has that lived-in feel with stacks of paper and maps of the local area on the walls. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the shops around us change owners many times. Our work isn't about making headlines. It’s just about being there for the people who live around here. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the afternoon. The building is older, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We don’t spend money on polished ads because that’s not who we are. We’re just local residents trying to keep the foundation running smoothly. It's simple, practical work. We focus on what’s right in front of us. If you’re walking by Chitrkot Yojana, you’ll see our small sign. It’s not flashy, but we’re there every day, working through our lists and talking to whoever drops by.
