You can find us at 161 Mahavir Nagar, right off Tonk Road in Jaipur. It’s a pretty busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the windows. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a regular place where we’ve set up our desks. Inside Aiesec, it’s often a bit chaotic. We have posters on the walls and stacks of flyers that never seem to get smaller. There are desks pushed together so we can talk while we work. It’s not a quiet place. There is usually someone talking or a phone ringing. We don't have fancy office furniture. Most of it is stuff we’ve had for years. The floor is tile and it’s easy to clean, which is good because we track in a lot of dust from the street. We don’t follow a strict corporate dress code or anything. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for the heat. Jaipur gets really hot in the summer, so the coolers are always running. We spend our time organizing things and trying to keep track of all the different projects going on. It’s a lot of coordination. We don't use big words to sound important. We just tell people what needs to be done and try to get it finished by the end of the week. That's just how we operate here.
