Our location is in Shyam Nagar, right near the Nehru Statue at C 142 A. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the statue is. Ravi’s place is quite straightforward. It’s a ground floor setup mostly, which makes it easy for moving things in and out. The neighborhood is fairly busy during the day with people heading to work. We’ve got a small front area where we usually keep the bicycle or scooter parked. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and a couple of desks. We don't have fancy lights or a lounge for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find Ravi looking at some ledgers or talking on the phone. We do our own cleaning and make sure the place stays somewhat tidy, though it gets dusty fast. The afternoon sun hits the front door pretty hard, so we usually keep the curtain drawn then. It’s a very quiet operation for the most part. We don't shout about what we do. We just keep the records straight and make sure the people we work with are happy. It’s a basic way to run a business, but it’s honest and it keeps us busy. That’s all we really need at C 142 A. We’ve been here for a few years now and know the local faces well. It feels like we are part of the scenery.
