Agarwal Painting House

Agarwal Painting House is situated right in the middle of Kotputli Bazar, specifically in the Indira Bazar section. It’s a very crowded part of town, so there’s always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside our door. We’ve been in this market for quite some time now. The shop is packed tight with stacks of paint tins and rolls of wallpaper. Space is a bit of a luxury here, so we have to stack things all the way up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a struggle to move around when there are more than two or three people inside. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and displays. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we just get down to business. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors or local contractors who have been buying from us since we first started. We don't do much in terms of marketing because the word of mouth in Indira Bazar is enough to keep us busy. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start the day by dusting off the cans. It’s a bit of a hectic environment, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just focus on getting the right products to the right people without making a big fuss about it. It’s just a regular paint house doing regular business in a very busy, local market.
