Agarwal Chemicals

Agarwal Chemicals is at D-27-A in Bajaj Nagar. We are just off the road that leads to Jyoti Hospital, so we see a lot of people passing by on their way there. The street is usually lined with cars and the occasional cow wandering through. Our building is a simple one, painted a light color that has faded over the years. We have a small front area where we meet people and then the back is where all the actual stock is kept. It smells a bit sharp inside sometimes because of the products, but you get used to it after five minutes. I keep a small radio on the shelf that mostly plays old songs, which helps keep the mood light when there is a lot of work to do. My brother helps me out with the books, though we often disagree on how to file things. We have a small bench outside where we sit when the weather is nice. It’s not a big corporate operation with a lot of staff. It’s just us trying to keep things running smoothly and making sure we don't run out of supplies. We don't use any fancy software, just a pen and a big register that we’ve used for a long time. It’s a quiet life in a busy neighborhood and we like it that way. We just do our bit and try to be helpful to whoever stops by.
