Our office is situated in Jaipur, specifically at Malviya Nagar in the Nagar Residency. We are in Block C, Flat No 501, which is up on the fifth floor. Being on Kelgiri Road means we are in a pretty active part of the city. The flat has been converted into an office space, so it still has that homey feel with the tiled floors and the way the rooms are laid out. We’ve got our workstations set up where the living room and bedrooms used to be. It’s actually quite nice because it doesn't feel like those cold, glass-walled offices you see in movies. Jaipur can get incredibly hot, so the air conditioning is basically our best friend from March until October. We have a small balcony where we go to take phone calls or just get a bit of fresh air, though the view is mostly just the rooftops of Malviya Nagar. There are about ten of us here on a regular day, and it can get a bit crowded when everyone is talking at once. We handle a lot of technical stuff, mostly through emails and remote connections. The elevator in Block C can be a bit temperamental, so we always tell visitors to be patient with it. We’ve been here for a while and we know the local shops where we can get printouts or a quick snack. It’s a solid place to work without too much fuss.
