Action For Bringing Change & Development Welfare Foundation

Our office is on the first floor at B-108 in the Hanging Garden area of Village Bhankrota. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main parts of Jaipur, but Bhankrota is growing fast these days. The Action For Bringing Change & Development Welfare Foundation operates out of this space because it’s relatively quiet compared to the city center. We share the floor with a few other spots, and there’s always something happening in the garden area downstairs. We try to keep things simple here. There’s no huge reception desk or uniforms. We just sit down, grab some tea, and get to work on whatever welfare projects are on the list for that week. The walk up to the first floor is good exercise, though some of us complain about it when it’s forty degrees outside. Being in a village setting like Bhankrota means we see a lot of local faces, and we like that connection. We aren’t a giant organization with thousands of staff members; it’s just a small group of us trying to make sense of the development work we took on. Sometimes the internet is a bit spotty, but we manage. We’ve been at B-108 for a bit now and the locals know where to find us if they have questions. It’s a decent place to work from, even if the name of the foundation is a bit of a mouthful to say every time we pick up the phone. We don't worry about being fancy.
