Aas Cooperating India Foundation

You can find Aas Cooperating India Foundation at B193, right across from the Meena Petrol Pump in Mandi Khatikadelhi Road. It is a pretty busy street with a lot of trucks and cars going by all day. Our place is not very big, just a front room and a small back area where we keep our things. We started this because we wanted to do something for the people living and working around the Delhi Road area. It is a tough spot sometimes, very dusty and loud, but it is where we are needed most. We do not have a fancy website or a lot of brochures. Most people find out about us by just walking past and seeing our sign or hearing about us from a neighbor. We spend a lot of time just listening to what people need. Sometimes it is help with a local problem, other times they just need someone to point them in the right direction. We do not have a lot of money so we have to be smart about how we spend every rupee. It is just a few of us here. We do not wear suits or have big meetings. We just sit around the table and figure things out. It is basic, grassroots work. We have been at this spot for a while now and we have become part of the daily life on Delhi Road. It is not always easy, but we are here.
