Our office is in the Monoflex Plaza, which is at B-29-2254 on the main G T Road. Being right on the G T Road means we are always in the thick of the traffic and the noise, which is just part of life when you’re in the steel business. The plaza is a busy building with a lot of different people coming and going. We have our space here where we manage all the steel orders and talk to the suppliers. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists of inventory. Steel isn’t a soft business, and the atmosphere in our office reflects that. It’s practical and a bit rugged. We don't have fancy artwork on the walls, just calendars and maybe a few old photos of the yard. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a breather. Working on G T Road means you get used to the constant sound of horns and engines, but after a while, you don't even hear it anymore. We are just a group of people who know their way around metal and try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the steel where it needs to go without any drama. The work gets done, and that is what matters most to us.
