Vikramaditya College

If you’re driving down Mr.4 Road near Ekta Chowk in Jabalpur, you’ll find us easily enough. Vikramaditya College is right there in the middle of all the noise and bustle of the city. We’ve got the 482001 pincode, which stays pretty busy throughout the day. The building isn't brand new, it has some character from all the years of students walking through the hallways. We spend a lot of time fixing up the benches or painting a wall when it starts looking a bit dull. It’s a typical college atmosphere where you hear voices coming from the classrooms and the sound of traffic from the main road outside. We don’t have any big corporate offices or anything like that. It’s just us, the teachers, and the staff trying to keep things organized. In the winter, the mornings are quite nice when the sun hits the front of the building. Students hang out near the entrance before their first lecture starts. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with, like every other place in Madhya Pradesh, so you’ll usually see one of us behind a desk shuffling files around. It’s a plain, honest place where people come to learn and then head back home. We like the neighborhood here at Ekta Chowk because everything is close by. It’s just a normal part of the Jabalpur life and we’re glad to be a small part of it.
