Sharda Memorial Higher Secondary School

Our school, Sharda Memorial Higher Secondary, is located at 4/4 Gautam Ganj in Jabalpur City. We are right in the middle of a busy residential and commercial mix. It’s been here for many years, and the building shows its age a little, but it’s sturdy. We handle students all the way through their higher secondary years. The location is quite convenient for families living in the Gautam Ganj area. Inside, the rooms are a bit small but we make do with the space we have. There are rows of benches and plenty of blackboards. It gets quite loud during the changeover between periods, with students moving through the narrow hallways. We have a small staff room where we keep all the records and have our lunch. It’s not a fancy institution with modern architecture. It’s just a place that has been serving the local community for a long time. We have regular Parent-Teacher meetings where the local parents come in to chat about how their kids are doing. Most of the teachers have been with us for a decade or more. We focus on the textbooks and the exams, making sure the kids are prepared for whatever comes next after they finish school. It’s a simple, honest place to get an education in Jabalpur. We just go about our business every day without much fuss or fanfare. It isn't perfect, but it is a solid place for learning the basics.
