Super Field Farmers Producer Companylimited is based at Narayan Prasad’s place in Sihoda, which is in the Jabalpur district. We do not have a big office in the city because that is not where the work is. Our work is out here in the dirt and the fields of Sihoda. We started this group because we were all facing the same issues with high costs for tools and low returns for our produce. It is just a bunch of neighbors trying to help each other out. We do not have any polished speeches or marketing materials. Most of the time, we are just figuring out how to get enough water to the fields or how to fix a broken tractor without spending too much. It is a very local thing. We know every person who is part of this company because we see them at the local market or at the temple. Jabalpur is a big place, but our world is quite small and focused on these specific fields. We handle the sales and the buying of supplies so that the individual farmer does not have to worry about the business side so much. It is a lot of responsibility, and we do not always get it right, but we try our best. We just want to make sure the work we do in the sun all day actually pays off at the end of the season.
