Sakar Associates And Builders Private Limited is run by a handful of us who have lived around here for quite a while. We decided to set up shop in the penthouse because it gives us a decent view of what’s happening in the neighborhood, though it’s mostly just a place to keep our files and meet with contractors. Building things is a messy business, and we are right in the thick of it most weeks. We handle the usual stuff like planning out residential spaces and making sure the builders have what they need to keep moving. It gets pretty loud sometimes with all the phone calls going back and forth about sand deliveries or electrician schedules. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational company because we aren't one. We are just local people who know how to put bricks together. Some days are slow, especially when it rains, and other days we are running around like crazy trying to fix a mistake on a site. It is a practical life, really. We don’t spend money on glossy brochures. Most of our work comes from people just seeing what we’ve already built nearby. We try to keep things simple and stay out of the way unless there is a problem that needs solving. That’s just how we operate day in and day out without much fuss.
