R.C.S. School is tucked away in Bedinagar, over in the Soopatal area of Jabalpur. If you know Miloniganj, you probably know where we are. It’s not a flashy place by any means. It’s just a neighborhood school where local kids come to learn. The streets around here are a bit narrow, so it can be a squeeze when the school day starts or ends. We’ve got the standard classrooms and a small space for the kids to breathe between lessons. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the roof just fine. Inside, it sounds like any other school—lots of chatter, the sound of chalk on boards, and the bell ringing every hour. We don’t have those big fancy playgrounds you see in the movies, just a regular patch of ground where the kids play tag or sit in the sun. Most of the teachers have been here for years and know all the families in the area. It feels more like a community spot than a big institution. When it rains, we have to make sure the windows are shut tight because the wind really picks up in this part of Jabalpur. We just keep things running day to day. There’s no big secret to how we do things. We open the doors in the morning, do the lessons, and lock up in the evening. It’s a steady routine.
