We’ve been here at the Refractory Works in Katni for quite a while now. Most people in Madhaw Nagar know where we are. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the buses pull in and parents are dropping off their kids. The school building isn't brand new or anything, but it’s sturdy and has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. Inside, it’s usually pretty loud until classes actually start. You can hear teachers talking and the sound of chalk on boards if you walk down the hallways. We have a playground where the kids spend their breaks, and it gets pretty dusty when they’re all running around at once. Katni is a working town, and our school feels like a part of that rhythm. People here know each other, so it’s common to see neighbors chatting at the gate while waiting for the final bell. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. It’s just a place for learning and getting through the school day. Sometimes the power goes out or the fans get a bit noisy, but we just keep going. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids stay on track with their books. It’s just us, doing what we do every day in this corner of Katni.
