Rahul Bardia

My name is Rahul Bardia and I’ve got my office at 103 Napier Town. It’s situated on Shashtri Bridge Road, or as some of the local signs say, Kshastri Bright Raod. It’s right across from the Chandrika Tower, which is a big landmark here in Jabalpur. I’ve been working from this spot for a while now. The room is number 103, and it’s a pretty functional space. I don't have any interest in making it look like a corporate headquarters. It’s just a place where I sit down and get my work done every day. The view of the tower across the road is pretty familiar to me by now. Usually, I get in early before the traffic on the bridge gets too loud. It can get quite noisy in the afternoons with all the horns. I have my books and my computer, and that’s about all I need. People who come to see me usually know the area well, so they don't get lost. Sometimes I have to go out for meetings, but mostly I'm right here. It’s a one-man show for the most part, though I have help when things get too busy. Jabalpur is a good place to be, and Napier Town is right in the middle of everything. I just take things one day at a time. It isn't always perfect, but we get through the pile of work eventually.
