If you are looking for us, we are right in front of the Head Post Office here in Katni. Maa Computers & Hardware is tucked away in Gali Raghunath Ganj. It is a narrow lane, but everyone around here knows where it is. We spend most of our time fixing broken screens or looking at motherboards under a lamp. The shop is full of cardboard boxes and old cables that we might need one day. It is a bit messy, to be honest, but we know where every single screw is kept. Being across from the post office means there is always a crowd of people passing by our door. Katni gets quite hot in the summer months, so the shop is a bit of a refuge for us. We sell parts and fix things when they break down. It is not a big corporate store with bright lights. It is just a local shop where you can come in and talk about what is wrong with your laptop or desktop. Sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive from the bigger cities like Jabalpur. That is just part of being in a place like this. We have seen a lot of computers come and go over the years. People bring in their old machines hoping we can make them fast again. We do what we can. It is a quiet life in the Gali. We know our neighbors and they know us. There is no big secret to it.
