Jupiter Pre School

We are tucked away in Yashwar Nagar, specifically in the Kanchan Vihar area of Vijay Nagar. It is a residential part of Jabalpur, so it is relatively quiet compared to the main roads. The school is basically a house that we have converted into a space for pre-schoolers. We have a few rooms dedicated to different age groups. When you walk in, you will see some cubbies for bags and shoes. The floor has those foam mats so the kids do not hurt themselves when they are playing. We spend our mornings doing basic things like storytelling or coloring. The kids are quite small, so they need a lot of attention. Sometimes they have snacks together in the little dining area. Our staff is mostly local ladies from the neighborhood who know the families around here. We do not use much fancy equipment. We have some wooden toys, some picture books, and plenty of paper for drawing. The backyard is small but has enough room for a slide and a little swing. It is a relaxed place where the day goes by quickly between the morning arrival and the afternoon pickup. Parents usually just walk over because they live so close by. We keep things informal because that is what works best for the little ones. It is a busy house but we like it that way. Most of the children leave by early afternoon and we clean up.
