Jain Stores

Jain Stores is at Shop 30 on the Main Road in Sadar. If you know Jabalpur 482001, you know where the Jain Temple is. We are right opposite that. Being near a temple means the atmosphere is a bit different, especially on certain days of the week when more people come to pray. Shop 30 is not huge, but we fit everything we need inside. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling. I usually need a stool to reach the top ones. The Main Road in Sadar is always humming with noise. Horns, people talking, the sound of rickshaws. It never really stops until late at night. We have been here for a long time. The wooden counter has some scratches from years of use. We don't see any reason to change it though. It works fine for us. We just sell what people need. There isn't any fancy marketing or big slogans on our walls. It is just Jain Stores. Sometimes the heat in Sadar gets really intense, and we just drink a lot of water and wait for the evening breeze. The temple bells are a nice sound to work to. We just do our bit and keep the shop running. It is a simple life at Shop 30. People come in, get their things, and we have a quick chat about the weather. Usually, by the time we close, the street has finally started to go quiet.
