Our place is tucked away in Subhash Nagar, specifically in Nai Basti. It’s House Number 1955, right across from Doulat Kirana. Everyone in Jabalpur knows how these neighborhoods are. We’ve been running Jai Maa Mateshwari Contractors from here for a bit. It’s a lot of manual work and managing crews. Dealing with construction and contracts means you are always on your toes. One day you’re looking at blueprints and the next you’re sorting out a delivery that went to the wrong side of town. Being in Madhya Pradesh, the weather usually dictates our schedule. We try to keep things moving even when it gets too hot or the rains start. The office isn't anything special to look at, just where we keep the files and meet the guys. My family has lived around here for years. Subhash Nagar has changed a lot, but the work stays the same. People come to us when they need something built or fixed up properly. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Word travels fast enough in Nai Basti. We just show up and do what’s needed for the day. Sometimes things go smooth, sometimes there are delays with materials, but that is just how contracting works. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till late. The neighborhood is noisy, but it feels like home for the business.
