Dream India School

Dream India School is located in the Kanchghar area of Jabalpur. This is an older part of the city, so the streets are narrow and usually crowded with people and shops. The school has been in this building for some time now. We have students coming from many different parts of Jabalpur. The classrooms are very basic, just standard wooden benches and blackboards. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have enough to teach the lessons properly. The teachers are always busy with their plans and grading papers during their breaks. We have a small courtyard where everyone gathers for the morning assembly. Jabalpur gets very cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer, so our daily schedule sometimes changes to deal with the weather. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s just the principal’s small room and a desk for the admin work. Most of our records are still kept on paper, although we do use a computer for the main files. The local shopkeepers around Kanchghar know us well because we’ve been here so long. We just try to provide a normal school environment for the kids without making any big promises. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place. We handle things as they come, whether it's fixing a broken window or organizing a small school event for the parents.
