Club Soda

Club Soda is based on Garha Road in Jabalpur. We focus mostly on drinks and refreshments for people passing through this part of the city. The shop is small and we keep a lot of crates stacked up near the entrance and along the side wall. You can usually hear the sound of the refrigerator running in the background all day. It’s a bit of a noisy machine but it keeps everything cold, which is what matters during the hot months here. We don't have any tables or chairs for people to sit down and linger. Most customers just stop their bikes on the side of the road, grab what they need, and head out again quickly. The walls are decorated with some old posters and the lighting is just a few basic tubes. It’s not a place that looks like a modern cafe or a fancy lounge. We handle a lot of glass bottles and you have to be careful not to knock anything over when it gets crowded. In the evenings, it gets a bit more busy when people are finished with their work and looking for something cold to drink. We just stand behind the counter and hand out the bottles and take the change. Sometimes we have to deal with empty crates being picked up or new ones arriving, which makes the floor space even tighter. It is a very straightforward business. We don't use any complicated systems. We just count the cash and keep the inventory moving.
