Altair Engineering

Altair Engineering is located at 163B, 6th Main 3rd Cross in JP Nagar, III Phase. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads, which we like. We’ve been operating out of this space for some time. It’s more of a workspace than a showroom. We have various tools and machines set up, and there’s usually a bit of grease or dust on the workbenches. That’s just the nature of engineering work. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know how things work. We spend our days looking at drawings or putting parts together. It can be tedious, but it’s what we do. The neighborhood has a lot of trees, which makes the walk to the local canteen nice during lunch breaks. We don’t go in for flashy advertising or big promises. We just take the projects as they come and try to get the measurements right. If someone needs something fabricated or designed, they usually find us through a friend or another business nearby. We keep our records in old folders and use a computer that’s seen better days, but it gets the job done. It’s a practical place for practical work. We don't have a front desk person, so if you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us working on something. We just prefer to stay focused on the tasks we have.
