Islampur Poultry Farm Private Limited

Our place, Islampur Poultry Farm Private Limited, is located over at Milanpally in Islampur. We’re working out of Harendra Nath Das’s place. If you know the area, it isn’t too hard to find us. We’ve been involved with poultry for quite some time now. It’s a busy job because the birds don't take a day off, so neither do we. We spend most of our time making sure the feed is right and the sheds are kept clean. It’s noisy and it can get a bit smelly sometimes, but that is just part of the life we chose. We aren't some big industrial factory. We’re just a local business trying to provide for the community here in Islampur. The office side of things is pretty basic. We keep our records and talk to customers from the room at Milanpally. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours, especially when it’s cold or really hot outside. We don't have any fancy brochures to hand out. People know us because we’ve been here and they see the work we do every day. Sometimes we have to stay up late if there’s a problem with the birds, but we don't mind. It’s what we do. We’re just regular people running a poultry farm and trying to keep everything moving. The morning feed is always the loudest part of the day.
