Most people know us through the phone, 9899532209, but we’re a real operation with people on the ground every day. The smell of ground beans is the first thing that hits you when you walk in. It’s a constant sound of milk steaming and timers going off. We spend the whole day on our feet, moving between the counter and the machines. It’s not always peaceful; in fact, it’s usually quite loud with the grinder running and people calling out names. We have a lot of regular customers who don't even have to say their order anymore, which makes the morning go a bit smoother. The counters get sticky, the floor needs a sweep every twenty minutes, and there's always a sink full of pitchers waiting to be washed. We don't have some grand philosophy about it. We just show up, turn on the machines, and start serving. The phone rings a lot with people asking about hours or if we have certain things in stock. It’s a fast-paced environment and sometimes we get the orders mixed up when it’s really busy, but we just fix it and keep going. Working here means getting used to the heat from the espresso machine and the rush of the crowd. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, making sure everyone gets their caffeine fix so they can go about their business in the city without any unnecessary delay.
