Vikram General Store

You can find us in Ambedkar Nagar, on Road Number 10 near the L I G Colony in Indore. We are very close to Bima Hospital, so we get quite a few people coming in who are visiting the hospital or working there. Our shop at 435/10 is a basic general store where we keep all the essential household items. We have everything from tea leaves and sugar to notebooks and pens for school kids. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be clever about how we stack the boxes. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but that’s just how it is. I started this store because there weren't many options for the people living in this specific part of the colony. It’s mostly a neighborhood spot. I spend my days sitting behind the counter, greeting the people I’ve known for years. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. Just a simple board with the shop name on it. In the evenings, the local kids come by for sweets or small toys. It makes the place feel lively. We try to keep the stock fresh and the prices fair. If the power goes out, which happens occasionally, we just light a few candles and keep going. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just want to provide what the local community needs without any fuss or complications.
