Bombay Supari Store

Bombay Supari Store is located right on M.G. Road at number 88. Being on such a main road means we see all sorts of people walking past our door every day. It’s a prime spot, but it can get incredibly hectic during the rush hours. The shop has been here for a long time. It has that old smell of wood and the goods we keep. We don't have fancy glass displays or bright neon lights. It’s just a traditional setup with shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a small space, so when more than three people come in at once, it feels very full. We try to keep things tidy, but with the dust from the road, it’s a constant battle. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving and helps with the heat. We like the rhythm of M.G. Road. The morning is quiet, then it picks up, and by evening it’s just a wall of sound. We just stay behind the counter and do our work. It’s not a complicated life. We know our products and we know our customers. That’s pretty much all there is to it. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where we show up every morning.
