U.C. Provision

We've been here on Station Road in Indore for quite a long time now. Most folks just call us U.C. Provision when they walk in. It’s a busy spot near the tracks. We open up pretty early because the morning crowd is usually looking for things they forgot at home before heading out. The shop isn't huge but we try to keep the shelves stocked with the daily stuff people need. You’ll find things like pulses, sugar, some snacks, and soaps. Dealing with the dust from the road is a bit of a daily battle, but that’s just how it is around here. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to shuffle things around to make space. It gets crowded during the evening rush when everyone is coming back from work. My nephew helps out behind the counter when he isn't busy with his own things. We know most of the regular faces by name, and they know where everything is kept. If someone can't find something, they just yell out and we point them to the right corner. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, but we manage. We don't really have a fancy way of doing things, just basic paper billing or sometimes we just write it down in the register if it's a regular neighbor. It's a simple life running a shop in Indore. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in today.
