Our shop is in the Trade Center, at No. 51 B over in South Tukoganj. This part of the city is always buzzing because it is a major hub for all kinds of businesses. At A And S Alu-glass Products, we spend our time working with aluminum frames and large sheets of glass. The shop is usually pretty crowded with materials leaning against the walls. Moving those big glass pieces can be a bit stressful, but after doing it for years, you just get used to the weight and the risk. We make a lot of windows and sliding doors for the buildings going up around here. The sound of the electric saws cutting through the metal is something you hear from morning until we close up at night. It gets loud and there are always little bits of aluminum on the floor that we have to sweep out. We aren't trying to be a fancy showroom. We just take the measurements, cut the glass, and put the frames together. Sometimes we have to go out to the building sites to install everything, which is a lot of work in the sun. South Tukoganj is so busy that finding a place to park our delivery van is a constant struggle. We have been in this same unit for a while and even though it is small, it serves us well enough for the daily work we do.
