Tirumala Engineering Workshop

You can find us located behind the Prathana Toll Kanta on Nemavar Road. It is a spot where you can always hear the sound of the trucks and traffic passing through the toll area. Our workshop is a place where we do a lot of heavy lifting and mechanical repairs. There’s usually oil on the floor and the smell of grease and burnt metal in the air. We have various machines for cutting and welding, and there is always something that needs fixing or fabricating. The workspace isn't exactly tidy, but we know where every tool is kept. Most of the time, we are busy with local orders or helping out people who have broken down nearby. It’s a practical environment. We don't wear suits or sit at desks much. Our days are spent standing at the workbench or moving heavy parts around with the hoist. Nemavar Road stays busy, so there is never a dull moment with the activity outside. We just focus on the engineering side of things and making sure the parts we make or fix are solid. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially when it’s hot and the machines are running, but we have been at it for a while and it suits us. We just take the work as it comes and try to stay on top of the pile.
