Tarun General Store

Tarun General Store is based on Road No. 9 in the L I G Colony part of Indore. We are quite near the Atal Dwar, so most locals know exactly where we are sitting. It’s a busy little corner of Nehru Nagar. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place with shutters and plenty of stock inside. We carry the usual household items that families around here need every day. Things like oil, flour, snacks, and toiletries are always on the shelves. It’s a small operation, mostly just us managing the counter and checking the inventory. The street outside can get quite loud with bikes and people walking to the market, but we like the energy of the colony. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming here to buy things for their own homes now. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our sales; we just write things down or remember them. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy, but people still come in for their tea leaves or milk. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If someone needs something we don't have, we usually try to get it for them by the next week. It’s just about being a reliable spot for the neighbors to get their supplies without any fuss or trouble.
