Standard Glass & Aluminium

Our shop is located at 26 Jawahar Marg, near the Indore GPO. We are very close to the Imran Hotel, which is where most of us go for a quick bite or some tea. Jawahar Marg is one of those streets that never seems to sleep. There is constant noise from the traffic and people shouting. We deal mostly with glass and aluminium, so you’ll see plenty of sheets and frames leaning against the walls. It’s a bit crowded inside because these materials take up a lot of room. The floor is usually covered in a bit of sawdust or small metal shavings. We have a small counter at the front where we talk to people who walk in. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a working shop. We’ve been at this Indore location for quite a while. Most of the local contractors know us by name. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just answer the phone and help whoever comes through the door. Sometimes the heat in Indore gets really bad, making the metal hot to touch, so we have to be careful. We just keep things simple and honest. If a job is going to take three days, we tell them three days. We don't see the point in making things sound better than they are. It’s just us doing our daily work.
