R R Glass & Aluminum House

We’ve set up shop at Plot No. 85 in Bhagat Singh Nagar, right off Sanwer Road. It’s a dusty part of town because of all the trucks moving along the main road, but it’s a good location for what we do. We have sheets of glass leaning against the walls and aluminum frames stacked up in piles. You have to be careful where you walk so you don’t trip over something. It’s a working warehouse more than a shop, really. We spend our days cutting glass to size and putting frames together. The sound of the saw is pretty constant during the morning hours. We don’t have a fancy air-conditioned office; we just have a small desk in the corner with a calendar and a phone that rings more than we’d like. Sanwer Road is always busy, so we get a lot of people just dropping in to see what we have. We’ve been at this plot for a few years and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s not a polished business with a marketing team. It’s just us, some heavy gloves, and a lot of glass. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big order, and the only light comes from the streetlamps outside. We don't make big promises or use big words. We just do the work that needs doing and hope the traffic isn't too bad when we head home.
